Meditation is by far one of the most powerful practices you can take up. It takes very little time, you can do it almost anywhere and the results are amazing.
There are many types of meditation from guided to just focusing on your breathing. Get into the habit of a daily meditation practice (I do it in the bath each night) and you will notice a difference very quickly. It is also a great thing to teach the kids to do.
The following meditation as are short so the kids can join in too!
I also recommend the app Buddhify - it has meditations for all kinds of situations.
